Sri Lanka is a place that refreshes your mind, body as well as your soul and spirit. Since ancient times, Ayurveda has been made used in Sri Lanka as one of the most popular methods and as a holistic approach to restore and rejuvenate tired bodies and weary souls.
Ayurveda is based on indigenous Indian medicine and it draws a deep understanding of physiology, elements of philosophy, as well as psychology and spirituality. The traditional Tibetan Chinese medicine and Greek medicine also has been influenced by many of the concepts introduced by Ayurveda.

Just 6km from Bandaranaike International Airport, Negombo is Sri Lanka’s oldest beach resort situated approximately 35km north of Colombo. Negombo was famous in the 18th century for the cultivation of some of the best cinnamon in the world and is now one of the island’s most important fishing ports. The catamaran-type fishing craft (oruwas), fitted with their large sails, characterize Negombo. West cose beaches

Bentota has been a tourist attraction since 19th century, when Galle was the island’s main port. Visitors proceeding to Colombo in stagecoaches stopped at Bentota at the rest-house (long gone) for a treat of local oysters. Today, Bentota has a number of package resorts and a wide selection of hotels as well as the National Tourist Resort, which comprises a shopping centre, post office and a market.

Sri Lanka has its beginnings from the stone Age, stretched from 125,000 BC to 1000 BC.
